SMBP physicians are dedicated to the prevention of heart disease through good nutrition, vitamins, aggressive cholesterol management, control of high blood pressure, exercise, and smoking cessation. We also believe in early detection of heart disease so that more aggressive treatment can be initiated before a heart attack occurs. We utilize all available diagnostic tests including electrocardiograms, stress or exercise electrocardiograms, coronary artery calcium scoring on our GE Lightspeed CT scanner, Holter monitors, echocardiograms, and nuclear cardiology testing. |
