Other Training & Special Interests : Dr. Shendrikar joins us from UCLA Department of Family Medicine. She obtained her undergraduate degree from U of Pennsylvania School of Arts and Sciences in Philadelphia. She has a Master's in Public Health from UCLA. and has also studied in India and Spain. In 2001, she received the prestigious “Dr. Alexander David Major Memorial Award” for demonstrating excellence in patient care, academic ability, community involvement, and leadership. Discovery Health's episode of “The Residents” featured Dr. Shendrikar, which chronicles the stressful and hectic lives of medical residents by following them while they work at the UCLA Medical Center.
